Ingredients :
Maida – 3 and ¼ cups
Salt – a pinch
Sugar – ½ cup
Butter – 50 gms
Milk – ½ cup
Water – ½ cup
Yeast – 1 and ½ tsp
Crumbled chocolate cake – as required
Strawberry or cherry jam – as required
Milk – for brushing
Method :
1)
Warm milk, water in the micro for a min
2)
Dissolve sugar and butter
3)
Once lukewarm add yeast and let it froth
4)
In a food processor add the maida, salt and the yeast
mixture and make a smooth dough
5)
Keep aside for an hour and ½ to double
6)
Roll this into a rectangle
7)
Apply jam over it
8)
Spread a thick mixture of crumbled chocolate cake over
it
9)
Roll this into a tight cylinder, seal the sides and the
end
10) Cut
this into small logs and place it in muffin trays
11) Keep
aside for an hour to rise again
12) brush
with milk on top and bake for 10-15 mins in 180 degrees preheated oven
