Ingredients :
For the samosas :
Samosa patti leaves – as required
Mawa burfi or kalakhand – 2 cups
Powdered dry fruits (almonds, cashews) – ¼ cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Paste of maida and water – for sealing..
Oil and dalda for frying
For the sugar syrup :
Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Saffron – a few strands
Method :
1)
Crush the mawa burfi or kalakhand, add powdered dry
fruits and mix well
2)
Add cardamom powder and mix well
3)
Make patti samosas with the sweet filling inside
4)
In the meantime take sugar and water in a wok and start
boiling
5)
Add saffron and boil till you get 1 string consistency
6)
heat oil and dalda and fry the samosas in sim flame
till light brown
7)
immerse these samosas in sugar syrup till well coated
and remove in a plate
Variation :
you can serve this with rabdi just for that royal taste..
