Ingredients :
Maida – 1cup
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Butter – ¼ cup
Salt – a pinch
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Milk – ½ cup
Yeast – 1 tsp
Cinnamon mixture :
Cinnamon powder – 2 tbsp
Brown sugar – ¼ cup
Chocolate flakes powdered or chocolate sauce
Method :
1)
In a cup warm milk, dissolve sugar and add yeast, leave
it aside to froth up
2)
In a mixing bowl add the flours, butter salt and start
putting the yeast mixture and start kneading
3)
Knead for 5-10 mins till it forms a soft firm
4)
Grease the dough with oil and keep aside for a hour or
2 to double
5)
Make a powder of cinnamon and sugar, sieve it to a fine
powder
6)
Punch the dough and knead again for 5 mins
7)
Roll this into a long square
8)
Apply little butter on the bread
9)
Sprinkle the cinnamon powder all over, slightly press
it
10) Sprinkle
the chocolate powder or drizzle chocolate sauce
11) Start
rolling the chapathi till the end and seal it at the end and on the sides
12) Cut
it into 2 inch pieces
13) Place
them individually on a greased muffin tray or on a baking tray with the rolled
portion looking up
14) Keep
covered for 45 mins (you will see that it has further doubled)
15) Apply
milk on top of these rolls and bake them for 20 mins or till the sides trun
brown in a 180- degree preheated oven
