LITTLE HEARTS

Ingredients :

Brown Bread slices – 8-10
Butter – 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp + for applying on the slices
Maida – 1 tbsp
Milk – ½ cup
Finely chopped spinach – 7-8
Frozen corn – ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Chilli garlic chutney – 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese for garnishing

Method :

1)     With a heart shaped cookie cutter, shape the brad slices and keep the little hearts aside
2)     In a pan take 1 tbsp butter and add maida and the chilli garlic chutney
3)     Sauté till it becomes light brown
4)     Add milk slowly stirring it briskly to avoid lumps
5)     In another pan take 1 tbsp butter add the finely chopped spinach and sauté till dry
6)     Add the corn and the salt and mix well till blended
7)     Add the white sauce and mix well
8)     Apply butter on the heart bread slices
9)     Scoop a spoon of the spinach corn mixture
10) top it with little cheese
11) line them in a greased baking tray and grill them on a 160 degrees preheated oven for 5-7 mins till the crust is brown
