BROCCOLI AND BESAN KI SUBZI

Ingredients :

Broccoli cut into flowerets – 3 cups
Besan – ¾ cup
Onion finely chopped - 1
Salt to taste
Green chillies finely chopped – 4
Ginger grated – 1”
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Dhania powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Amchur powder – 1 tsp

For tempering :

Oil – 2 tbsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Haldi powder – 1 tsp

Method :

1)     Wash the flowerets in warm water and run under cold water
2)     In a pan take oil splutter jeera and haldi powder
3)     Add the green chillies, ginger and onions and sauté well
4)     add broccoli, salt cover and cook till half done
5)     mix besan with chilli  powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder
6)     add this mixture little by little to the broccoli mixture
7)     sprinkle water, cover and cook for 5-6 mins in sim flame
