LEFT OVER CHAPATHI UPMA

Ingredients :

Left over chapathis – 6
Finely chopped onions – 2
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Peanuts – 1 /4 cup
Salt to taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves – for garnishing

For tempering :
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Method :

1)     Chop the chapathis put it in a chopper and mince it to resemble granules
2)     In a pan take oil and splutter rai, jeera and turmeric powder
3)     Add the chopped onions and peanuts and sauté till onions turn light brown and peanuts turn crispy
4)     Add chilli powder, salt, dhaniya powder and mix well
5)     Add the chapathi granules, sprinkle water and cover and cook for 2-3 mins till well blended
6)     Garnish with coriander leaves
