COCONUT CHUTNEY FOR RICE

Ingredients :

Fresh grated coconut – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Tamarind – lemon size

To roast and grind to a powder :

Ghee – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 2 tbsp
Red chillies – 4
Hing – 1 tsp

Method :

1)     In a pan take ghee and dry roast the ingredients for the powder, make a powder of this along with the tamarind, keep aside
2)     In the same mixie take coconut and salt and make a past without adding water
3)     Add the ground mixture and grind it once more to mix well
4)     Serve this with hot rice mixed with ghee
