BROCCOLI PARATHA

Ingredients :

Broccoli – 1
Salt to taste
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Oil – for cooking + 1 tbsp for the dough
Water – as required for the dough

Method :

1)     Cut the broccoli into flowerets and soak in hot salted water for half hour
2)     Drain the water completely and put them in a chopper and grate them
3)     In a mixing bowl take wheat flour, salt, oil, chilli powder, garam masala and the grated broccoli
4)     Add water little by little to form a nice pliable dough
5)     Roll into parathas and cook it
Serve hot with veggie of your choice




Note :

some people stuff the mixture and make it like stuffed paratha, but personally i like to mix the veggies in the dough so that it is evenly spread
I generally roll the parathas and deep freeze them with a butter paper in between each paratha so that it comes handy when you dont know what to make
