COCONUT MACAROONS

Ingredients :

Maida – 2/3 cup
Fresh grated coconut – 5 and ½ cups
Condensed milk – 1 can or 397 gms
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Salt – a pinch

Method :

1)     In a mixing bowl and maida and grated coconut
2)     Add salt and vanilla essence
3)     Add the grated coconut and mix well with the hand to form a blended mixture
4)     Scoop out ping pong size balls with an icecream scooper and line them in a tray on which a butter paper has been spread
5)     Bake this in a 175 degree preheated oven for 10-12 mins till you see a light brown crust on the surface
