ATTE KA HALWA

Ingredients :

Wheat flour – 1 cup
Ghee – ½ cup
Jaggery or sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Slivered almonds – ¼ cup

Method :

1)     In a non stick thick pan dry roast wheat flour to light brown colour – the flour would be lighter and you would get a good aroma. Don’t let it burn
2)     In another pan take 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar or jiggery and boil till melted
3)     Warm the ghee
4)     Once the wheat flour is done, add the hot ghee and mix well for a min
5)     Remove from the flame and add the melted jaggery or sugar, mix swiftly while pouring
6)     Keep it back on a very sim flame and cook till well blended
7)     Garnish with slivered almonds
