BANANA TOFFEE PIE OR BANOFEE PIE

Ingredients :

Banana rounds – 2
Dulce de Leche** – ½ cup
Whipping cream – 1 cup
Digestive biscuits – 8-10
Melted unsalted butter – 2 tbsp

Dulce de leche recipe:

Condensed milk – 1 can of 397 gms

Method :

1)     Pound the biscuits in a mixie to a powder
2)     Mix in melted butter and make a layer in a pie bowl (press it hard), refrigerate for half hour
3)     Spread a layer of dulce de leche on top of the crust
4)     Spread a layer of banana rounds fully covering the leche
5)     Whip the cream till peaks and formed (approx. 5 mins)
6)     Spread the whip cream over the banana layer and sprinkle chocolate flakes powder









Dulce de leche :

7)     In a microwave safe bowl add the can of condensed milk.
8)     Keep that bowl in another bigger bowl, add water in the big bowl upto half of the small bowl, cover the bowls with an aluminium foil
9)     Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cook this for almost an hour and half
10) what you get is a toffee like mixture, beat it and use
