Ingredients :
Raw rice – 2 cup
Poha – ½ cup
Urad dal – 4 tbsp
Methi seeds – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Curd – 4 tbsps
Soda or eno – 1 pinch
Method :
1)
Soak urad dal, methi seeds and poha together overnight
2)
Soak rice overnight
3)
Grind the rice first in a wet grinder with curd till
smooth, keep aside
4)
Grind the poha, urad dal and methi seeds till smooth
(you can add water)
5)
Add the rice paste and grind it for 2 more mins
6)
Add salt and mix it with the hand and keep it for 7-8
hours for fermenting
7)
In a pan pour batter to make a thick dosa (it should be
like uthappam), do not spread it
8)
Spread oil on the sides and cover and cook on sim flame
till you see holes
9)
Open the lid and cook till you see the bottom crusty
10) Serve
hot with coconut chutney or sambhar (you don’t need to flip this dosa)
