Ingredients :
Oats – ¾ cup
Tur dal – ¼ cup
Chana dal – ¼ cup
Urad dal – 1 tbsp
Moong dal – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ginger – 1”
Red chillies – 6
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Onion finely chopped – 1
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Method :
1)
Soak the dals for 3 hours
2)
In a mixie take oats, red chillies, fennel, ginger and
grind to a coarse powder, keep aside
3)
Add the dals
with very little water and grind to a paste
4)
Mix with this with the coarse powder, add water and
make it to a pouring consistency
5)
Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, salt and mix well
6)
In an appe pan, add a drop of oil in all the holes
7)
Pour till the brim of the hole and cook both sides on
low flame till crispy
