Ingredients :
Maida – 1 cup
Powered sugar – ¼ cup
Butter – ½ cup
Vanilla essence – 2 tsp
Chocolate chips or cooking chocolate – ¼ cup
Method :
1)
Cream butter and sugar in a wide vessel

Add maida and make a pliable dough, add milk if its too
dry
3)
Make the dough into 2 parts, one as it is can be
refrigerated for 20 mins
4)
Melt chocolate chips and add this to the other part and
make a dough, refrigerate for 20 mins
5)
Take 2 butter papers and roll the dough separately on
the butter paper to a ¼” long rectangle
6)
Slowly place the chocolate rectangle over the vanilla
one and roll this into a cylinder (this has to be done very slowly)
7)
Seal the edges by pressing well and cut it into discs
8)
Line these in a greased baking tray
9)
Preheat owen to 160 degrees and bake these for 10 -15
mins keeping a watch.
