VERMICELLI KHEER

Ingredients :

Vermicelli – ½ cup
Milk – 1 litre
Condensed milk – ½ cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Roasted cashew nuts and kismis – 4 tbsp
Saffron (optional) – 1 pinch
Ghee – 2 tbsp

Method :

1)     In a pan take ghee and roast vermicelli till it becomes brown
2)     In another non stick take milk and start boiling for 10 mins
3)     Add the roasted vermicelli and boil till it gets cooked
4)     Add the condensed milk and mix well, if you adding saffron do it now
5)     add the cardamom powder, cashew nuts and kismis and boil for another 5 mins



Note :

I do not add saffron as the smell of cardamom is strong, so the aroma of saffron gets hidden
