Ingredients :
Thick poha – 1 cup
Lemon sized Tamarind soaked in ¼ cup
water
Salt to taste
Hing – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
For tempering :
Oil – 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Red chillies – 5
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Peanuts – 5 tbsp
Curry leaves – 5-6
Method :
1)
Wash the poha
2)
Remove tamarind pulp, add salt, hing and turmeric
powder
3)
Soak the washed poha in this (the poha should be
completely soaked in the tamarind water)
4)
In a pan take oil, splutter mustard seeds and urad dal
5)
Add red chillies, curry leaves and peanuts and sauté till
peanuts get brown
6)
Add the soaked poha and sauté for 5-6 mins till it gets
coated with all the tempering.
