Ingredients :
For the outer cover :
Maida - 1 cup
wheat flour - 1/2 cup
salt - a pinch
warm ghee - 4 tbsp
water - to make a dough
For the stuffing :
rawa - 1/2 cup
ghee - 3 tbsp
sugar - 3/4 cup
hot water - 1 cup
cardamom powder - 1 tsp
saffron - a pinch
Method :
For the outer covering :
1) in a wide pan mix the wheat flour and maida, add salt
2) add the warm ghee and rub the mixtures
3) Add water and make a loose dough like chapathi dough
4) cover and keep aside for 1/2 hour
For the stuffing :
5) in a non stick pan, add the ghee
6) add the rawa and roast till it becomes light brown
7) add hot water and mix well, add the saffron
8) add the sugar and saute well till it becomes a thick sheera
9) keep aside to cool
10) take a big lemon size ball out of the outer covering and make a small cup or puri
11) make 3/4 size of the covering dough out of the sheera
12) add the sheera in the puri and seal it.
13) roll out into a thick chapathi and cook on both sides like a paratha adding ghee
