Ingredients :
Thick poha – ½ cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Water – 2 cups
Cashew nuts and kismis roasted in 1 tbsp ghee – 3 tbsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Orange food colouring – a pinch
Method :
1)
In a pan dry roast the poha for 2 mins just to warm it
2)
Make a coarse powder of this in a mixie
3)
In the same pan, take the powdered poha and roast it to
a very light pink colour
4)
Add 2 glasses of water quickly stir it till it gets cooked
5)
Add the sugar and keep mixing
6)
Add the colour, ghee and cook till it leaves the sides
of the pan
7)
Garnish with cardamom powder and cashew nuts and kismis
