DOSA WITH A TWIST

Ingredients :

Finely chopped cabbage- 1 cup
Finely Chopped Onion - 1 medium
Oil to make dosas
To Soak

Raw rice – 2 cups
Green moong dal - 1 tbsp
Chana dal - 1 tbsp l
Methi seed – ½ tsp

For Masala to Grind :

Dhania seeds – 2 tbsp
Jeera – 1 tbsp
Grated coconut - 1 small cup 
Haldi powder - 1 tsp
Lemon size tamarind - soaked
Jaggery – 2 tbsp
red chillies – 6-8
Salt to taste

Method :

1)     Soak rice,green gram,bengal gram and methi seeds for 2-5 hours or overnight.
2)     Drain the exces water and grind it in a mixie along with the ingredients for masala, make a smooth batter
3)     Finely chop cabbage and onions, mix it in the batter and mix well, add salt
4)     The dough should neither be thick nor thin
5)     Make dosas in a non stick pan
6)     Serve hot with chutney
