Ingredients :
wet rice dough (for modak) - 1 cup
chilli powder - 1 tsp
salt to taste
fresh grated coconut - 3 tbsp
hing - 1 tsp
For tempering :
Oil - 1 tbsp
rai - 1 tsp
Method :
1) in a wide pan take the dough, mix all the other ingredients and mash well
2) make small balls out of it
3) steam it in a greased idle plate
4) cool and keep aside
5) in a pan, take oil, splutter rai
6) add the steamed balls and saute for 5 mins
