Rawa or sooji - 1 cup
salt to taste
green chillies finely chopped - 4
grated ginger - 2 tbsp
curd - 1/2 cup
grated carrots - 1/4 cup
broken cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
ghee - 2 tbsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
chana dal - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp
coriander leaves finely chopped - 2 tbsp
eno fruit salt - 1/2 tsp
Method :
1) dry roast sooji and keep aside
2) in a pan take ghee splutter mustard seeds, chana dal, cashew nuts and urad dal and saute till it becomes light brown
3) add green chillies, ginger, grated carrots, salt and mix well
4) add the sooji, coriander leaves and switch off the gas, cool
5) add curd and mix well. the dough should be like idli dough
6) just before making add eno salt, mix well (it would foam a bit)
