Ingredients :
Grated cabbage - 1/2
chana dal - 1/2 cup
salt to taste
green chillies slit - 2
chopped garlic - 1
finely chopped onions - 1 big
chilli powder - 1 tsp
fresh grated coconut - 3 tbsp
oil - 1 tbsp
jeera - 1 tsp
turrneric powder - 1 tsp
Method :
1) soak chana dal in hot water for an hour, microwave it for 5-6 mins
2) in a pan add oil and splutter jeera
3) add the green chillies, turmeric powder, garlic and saute well
4) add onions and saute till it becomes transculent
5) add the cabbage and drained chana dal, salt and close and cook till cooked
6) add chilli powder and saute for 5 mins
7) lastly garnish with grated coconut.
