Ingredients :
For the Filling :
boiled and
mashed potatoes - 2
salt to taste
chilli
powder - 1 tsp
finely chopped green chillies -2
grated ginger – ½ tsp
garam masala ½ tsp
dhania jeera powder – 1/2 tsp
amchur powder – ½ tsp
finely chopped coriander
leaves
Mash and mix all this well and keep aside
Dough :
¾ cup maida, 1
and ¼ cup wheat flour, baking powder and soda ½ tsp each, salt sugar, curd – 2 tbsp,
oil – 1+ 1 tbsp, warm milk – to make the dough
Method :
1) Mash and mix all the ingredients for the filling and keep aside
2) Take a wide
mixing bowl, sieve the flours, baking powder, soda, salt, and mix well.
3) Add sugar,
curd, 1 tbsp oil and the milk and mix well into a loose dough like for
chapathis.
4) Add the remaining 1 tbsp oil and mix well for 5 mins till the dough
is smooth.
5) Cover and keep aside for 4 hours.
7) Make round balls of cricket size balls.
8) Make a small puri and add a slightly smaller size ball of the filling
9) close seal it.
10) In a floured platform, roll this either with the
rolling pin or pat it with the hand to make a thick paratha with either
coriander leaves or black til.
11) Line these in a greased tray, brush little ghee on this and bake it for
10-15 mins till it becomes brown on both sides.
