Ingredients :
roast and make a powder of :
red chillies - 4-5
dhania seeds - 4 tbsp
tur dal - 1 tbsp\
chana dal - 1 tbsp
urad dal - 1/2 tsp
pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
jeera - 1/4 tsp
methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
hing - a pinch
Tamarind soaked in hot water and removed pulp - 1 lemon size
salt to taste
curry leaves - 506
chana dal - 1/2 tbsp
urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
any vegetable like ladys finger, small onions, etc
til oil - 3 tbsp
rai - 1 tsp
Method :
1) In a pan take til oil, splutter rai, saute urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves
2) saute the vegetables till light brown
3) add the tamarind pulp, salt and boil till raw smell goes off
4) add the ground powder and boil till nice and thick
5) serve hot with rice and ghee
