TOMATO DAL

Ingredients :

Tur dal - 1 cup
ghee - 1 tbsp
rai - 1 tsp
haldi powder - 1 tsp
curry leaves - 5-6
salt to taste
sambhar powder - 1 tbsp
chopped tomatoes - 1 big
hing - 1 tsp

method :

1) in a pressure cooker add the tur dal, haldi powder and tomatoes and cook till done, mash and keep aside
2) in a pan, add the ghee splutter rai, add curry leaves
3) add sambhar powder, hing, salt and saute for a minute
4) add the cooked dal mixture and boil for 5 mins
