PANEER PULAO

Ingredients :

Onions sliced – 1
Tomatoes chopped – 1
Mint leaves – ½ cup
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Cloves – 3-4
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Paneer cubes – ½ cup

Method :

1)     In a pan shallow fry paneer cubes and put in the warm water, remove and keep aside
2)     Make a paste of mint leaves, coriander leaves, cloves, ginger garlic and tomatoes to a fine paste
3)     In a wide pan, add the oil and ghee and add the sliced onions, sauté till it becomes transculent
4)     Add the ground paste, salt, chilli powder, garam masala and sauté well
5)     Add the rice and sauté for 2 mins
6)     Add water and cook till half done
7)     Add the paneer pieces and cook till done
8) Serve hot with boondi raita
