IDLI WITH A TWIST

Ingredients :

Broken wheat - 1 and 1/2 cups
idli rice - 1/2 cup
whole urad dal - 1/2 cup
methi seeds - 1/2 tsp
salt to taste

Method : 

1) Soak the wheat, rice and the urad dal with methi seeds separately over night
2) in a grinding machine grind the wheat and the rice till smooth, remove and keep aside
3) grind the dal and the methi seeds to a fine paste till it becomes fluffy
4) mix it with the rice and salt and keep overnight to ferment
5) make idlis and serve with chutney
