PANCH PHORAN DAL

Ingredients :

Tur dal soaked - 1 cup
ghee - 1 tbsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
chilli powder - 1 tsp
salt to taste
panch phoran spice mix - 1 tbsp
tomatoes chopped fine - 1 medium
coriander leaves chopped fine - 1 tbsp

Method :

1) In a pressure cooker add the ghee
2) splutter the panch phoran spice and saute will it starts giving a good aroma
3) add the turmeric powder, add the tomatoes, saute till it becomes mashy
4) add the chilli powder, salt and saute well
5) add the tur dal and give 2-3 whistles
6) garnish with coriander leaves
