BEETROOT KI SABZI

Ingredients :

Beetroot cut into small cubes - 1
onions chopped fine - 1
tomatoes chopped fine - 2 small
chilli powder - 2 tsps
salt to taste
oil - 2 tbsps
jeera - 1 tsp
coriander leaves chopped - 1 tbsp

Method :

1) steam the beetroot in a microwave owen tilll cooked  
2) In a pan take oil, splutter jeera
3) add onions and saute till it becomes light brown
4) add the tomatoes, salt and saute till it blends well
5) add the chilli powder, mix well
6) add the cooked beetroot and mix well, saute for a minute more
7) garnish with coriander leaves

Note :

while cooking the beetroot in the owen, do not add too much water as you may have to throw the excess water once the beet is cooked, which is not very good
