SRIKHAND

Ingredients :

Curd - 1/2 litre
sugar - 1 and 1/2 cups
cardamom powder - 1 tsp
saffron - 1 tsp
charoli seeds - 2 tsp

Method :

1) Hang the curds for 1/2 day in a muslin cloth till all the water has drained
2) remove the thick curds in a vessel, add the sugar, saffron and start beating the mixture well till the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has become firm and smooth.
3) sprinkle the cardamom powder  and add the charoli seeds.
4) refrigerate it till it is cold and more firm.
