CAULIFLOWER WITH COCONUT

Ingredients :

Cauliflower cut into small flowerets - 2 cups
coconut oil - 1 tbsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp
green chillies slit - 3
salt to taste
sugar - 1 pinch
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
fresh grated coconut - 3 tbsps
hing - 1/2 tsp

Method :

add salt and turmeric powder to hot water and soak the flowerets for 15 mins, strain
in a pan take coconut oil, splutter mustard seeds.
add urad dal and the chillies
add the cauliflower, salt and sugar and close and cook
once cooked, add the hing and mix well
garnish with grated coconut

Variation :
you can make this vegetable with cabbage and beans.
you can even put frozen peas along with these vegetables
