Ingredients :
1 cup - ghee
1 cup - sugar
1 and 1/2 cup - milk
Maida - to make a dough of the above (approx 1/2 kg)
oil and vegetable ghee - for frying
Method :
dissolve ghee, sugar and milk and heat till the sugar dissolves. Cool it completely. Start adding maids till you are able to get a loose dough. Roll out a thick chapathi and cut into small diamond shape biscuits. Deep fry in oil.
Note : Some people like to roll out a thin chapathi but if we make shakarpara in this manner, I prefer it thick so that it is very soft and not very hard.
