VERMICELLI PAKODAS

Ingredients :

Roasted vermicelli – ½ cup
Boiled and mashed potato – 1
Finely chopped onions – 2
Finely chopped green chillies – 3
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Grated ginger – ½ tbsp.
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Besan – ½ cup
Rice flour – 1 tbsp
Hing – a pinch
Hot oil – 2 tbsp
Oil – for frying

Method :

1)     In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients except vermicelli and oil
2)     Cook the vermicelli with 2 cups of hot water
3)     Once cooked, add cold water and add drain completely
4)     Add this to the mixture and mix well mashing all the ingredients
5)     Make pakodas and deep fry
6)     You can serve it hot with chutney or serve it like bhajiya pav by applying chutney in pav
