CORNFLAKES COOKIES

Ingredients :

Maida – ½ cup
Cornflakes – ½ cup + ¼ cup
Unsalted butter – ¼ cup
Sugar – ¼ cup
Vanilla essence – 2 tsp
Baking powder – 1/8 tsp
Salt – 1/8 tsp

Method :

1)     Grind the ½ cup cornflakes coarsely, keep aside
2)     Beat the sugar and butter till it becomes creamy, add vanilla essence
3)      Add the maida, baking powder and the powdered cornflakes and make a smooth dough. If it is a bit hard add little milk
4)     Cover with a cling foil and refrigerate
5)     Powder ¼ cup of cornflakes into a less coarse powder
6)     Make balls out of the dough, slightly press it, toss it in the cornflakes properly covering the biscuits
7)     Line it in a greased tray and bake for 20 mins in 180 degrees
