Ingredients :
Left over rice - 1 cup
Thick left over dal - 1/4 cup
curd - 2 tsp
grated carrot and lauki - 1/2 cup
wheat flour - 1/2 cup
finely chopped green chillies - 3
salt to taste
sugar - 1 tsp
lemon juice - 1 tbsp
oil - 3 tbsp
jeera - 1 tsp
hing - pinch
til - 1 tsp
Method :
1) add the curd in the rice mix well and keep it in the fridge preferably overnight or atleast for 3-4 hours
2) In a mixing bowl, add dal, lauki, carrot, salt, chillies, salt, lemon juice, sugar and mix well
3) add the wheat flour and the curd rice and mix well mashing it
4) make small muthiyas out of it and steam it
5) in a pan take oil, add the hing, jeera and til and splutter
6) add the steamed muthiyas and keep it on sim flame and saute it till becomes crisp
