FOCCACIA BREAD WITH BASIL AND OREGANO

Ingredients :

whole meal flour - 1 cup
maida - 1  cup
olive oil - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
salt - 1 tbsp
sugar - 1 tsp
yeast - 1 tsp
warm water - 1 cup

Herb oil :
olive oil - 3 tbsp
finely chopped basil - 2 tbsp
oregano - 1 tsp
chilli powder - 1/2 tsp

Method : 

1) Dissolve sugar in the warm water and put yeast mix and keep aside for 10 mins for frothing
2) in a bowl mix the flours, salt, yeast solution and make it into a smooth dough.
3) apply olive oil over it and keep covered in a warm place for almost 2 hours till the dough doubles
4) for the herb oil : warm the oil, add the chopped basil, chilli powder and oregano, mix well and keep aside for 30 mins
5) once the dough doubles, take a baking pan, grease it with olive oil
6) add the dough, spread it and add the herb oil.
7) make dimples and spread the dough with the herb oil in the pan.
8) keep aside for 40 mins till it rises again
9) bake it in 200 degrees for 20-30 mins
