Ingredients :
palak - 1 bunch
onion chopped roughly - 1
salt, pepper to taste
butter - 1 tbsp
milk - 1/4 cup
Method :
1) blanch the spinach in hot water and show it under cold running water to retain the colour
2) in a pan, add butter and onions and saute till transculent.
3) puree along with spinach, sieve the puree till you get a smooth mixture
4) add milk and boil till it is warm enough to have, add salt and pepper
5) serve hot
Note : you can make cauliflower and broccoli soup in the same manner. instead of palak, you can saute cauliflower and broccoli along with onions and make a puree
