Ingredients :
boiled chick peas - 1 cup
chana dal boiled - 5 tbsps
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
salt to taste
chilli powder - 1 tbsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
chole masala - 1 tbsp
oil - 1 tbsp
jeera - 1 tsp
tomatoes chopped - 1 large
green chillies slit - 3
chopped coriander leaves - for garnishing
Method :
1) In a pressure cooker take oil and splutter jeera
2) add turmeric powder, green chillies, tomatoes and saute well
3) add salt, chilli powder, chole masala, coriander powder and saute well
4) add the chana and the chana dal and give 1 whistle
5) garnish with coriander leaves
Note : This is a very simple dish with no much masala and can be had for every day khana..
