Ingredients :
Arbi steamed - 1 kg
oil - 3 tbsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Dry powder :
chilli powder - 1 tbsp
turmeric powder - 2 tsp
salt to taste
hing - a pinch
rice flour - 4 tbsps
Method :
1) once the steamed arbis are cool, cut them into big cubes
2) mix the ingredients for the dry powder and marinate the steamed arbis, keep aside for 1/2 hour
3) in a pan take oil and splutter mustard seeds
4) add the marinated arbis and saute on slow flame till it becomes well roasted and crisp
Note :
Make sure that the arbis are not over cooked as they tend to become mashy. if by chance it has, you can refrigerate it for an hour either with or without the marination.
