CAULIFLOWER, MOONG VADIS & PEAS MEDLEY

Ingredients :


Cauliflower cut into small flowerets – 1/2

Onions chopped fine – 2

Tomatoes chopped fine – 1 and 1/2

Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

salt to taste

pao bhaji masala – 1 tsp

tomato puree – 2 tbsp

moong dal vadi – ¼ cup roasted

green peas – ¼ cup

oil – 1 tbsp

jeera – 1 tsp

turmeric powder – 1 tsp

chopped coriander to garnish



Method :


1. Soak the cauliflower in hot salted water so that if there are any worms, they would come out

2. In a pan take oil and splutter jeera, add turmeric powder

3. Add the onions and saute till it becomes light brown

4. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, salt and sauté till it has blended well

5. Cook the cauliflower, peas and vadis by covering with a lid

6. Once cooked, add chilli powder, pao bhaji masala and mix well

7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
