Ingredients :
Cluster beans finely chopped - 1 cup
tur dal (red gram dal) soaked in water for 1 hour and drain the water completely - 1/4 cup
chana dal soaked in water and drained - 1/4 cup
chana dal soaked in water and drained - 1/4 cup
red chillies - 5-6
curry leaves - 10
salt to taste
hing - 1 tsp
oil - 3 tbsps
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Method :
1) Steam the beans till cooked, keep aside
2) make a coarse paste of :
drained dal, red chillies, hing and salt (you can grind the curry leaves if you do not like it whole)
3) steam this paste, once cooled, crumble it (sometimes the dal cannot be completely crumbled, you can grind it in a mixie)
4) In a pan, take oil and splutter mustard seeds
5) add the curry leaves and the turmeric powder
6) add the beans and saute for 5 mins, add little salt if required
