This is a sweet which my mom used to make on fridays when i used to fast for santoshi mata. I remember taking this to my office and my collegaues used to actually book for my dabba!! very simple, extremely tasty but sinfully fat!!
Ingredients :
Wheat flour - 1 cup
jaggery - 1 and 1/4 cups
water - 1 and 1/4 cups
ghee - 12 tbsps
Method :
Roast the wheat flour in half the quantity of ghee till it becoms golden pink and keep aside in a plate. This mixture wont be in the form of a powder. you can make out when it is done when a nice armoma fills in
In a kadhai, take water and melt the jaggery.
add half the balance ghee and slowly add the roasted flour
mix well and make sure no lumps are formed.
keep adding rest of the ghee and stir it till it leavs the sides and becomes a mass.
