SABUDHANA THALIPEETH

Ingredients :

Sabudhana – 1 cup
Boiled potatoes – 2
Salt to taste
Roasted peanuts – ½ cup
Grated ginger – ½ tsp
Green chillies finely chopped – 5-6
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 3 tbsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp

Method :

1)     Wash sabudhana well in water and soak it overnight in water (note that water level should be only till the sabudhana)
2)     Fluff the sabudhana with a fork till it looks cooked (even if it’s a bit sticky its ok)
3)     Mash the potatoes
4)     Grind the peanuts to a coarse powder
5)     Mix all the ingredients including oil in a wide vessel
6)     Sprinkle water if the mixture is dry
7)     Take a plastic sheet coat it with water
8)     take a cricket ball size of the mixture and pat it like a chapathi on the sheet
9)     put this chapathi in a pan coated with oil and cook on both sides till it becomes brown
10) serve this hot with chutney or curd
